rebuilding from the ground up.
With customers in both the private and public sectors, Sunseri Associates knew that their site needed to appeal to visitors who knew nothing about the company, while also serving as an effective follow-up tool when bidding for work state and local government projects.
However, their site had aged to the point where it was no longer achieving these goals, and the company knew it was time to invest in a new website that was more modern and appealing, and would provide a more satisfying user experience.
sunseri’s goals for the website project.
One of Sunseri Associates’ foremost goals was for visitors to simply have a better experience on the site. But with any business site, you want to have a specific goals in mind for directing the actions and behavior of your online visitors.
It’s advisable to have a user interface that allows site visitors to move through a website more easily, but what it is they’re moving towards? Where do you want to guide them?
Due to the fact that Sunseri has operated in Northern California for nearly half a century, the company has built a recognizable brand for itself which is a marketing tool that is invaluable when leveraged correctly. Sunseri wanted to use its new website to grow this brand awareness, and help to tie awareness of the Sunseri name to the services the company provides and the values it exemplifies in providing those services.
Secondly, Sunseri wanted visitors to have access to more information and imagery from past projects that they had worked on. In short, the site would lead off by educating visitors as to what the Sunseri name stands for, and then support reinforce claims by showing the company’s past work.
website construction challenges.
Sunseri wanted a vast amount of project images and information placed on the website, and provided us with thousands of photos. We optimized these photos for the web, organized them, chose the most interesting and attractive projects, and then worked with Sunseri to gather the necessary project details and distilled this information down into something easily consumable.
Secondly, Sunseri viewed this web development project as an opportunity to redesign their brand. So, in addition to designing and building the new site, we also designed new business cards and letterheads, and one of our graphic artists redrew their logo as vector art, so that it could be easily scaled for any purpose–even billboards!
closing out the web project.
Sunseri was a challenging and at times stressful project. This is why, after the launch of the site, we were extremely happy to hear that Sunseri Associates was very pleased with the final results.
Their administrative team sent us an email of thanks shortly after completion that read, in part:
“We knew going into this project that building our new website was going to be a serious challenge, especially with the amount of historical information that had to be organized into something that would be useful for our customers. We were very impressed with how well Post Modern Marketing handled the many different aspects of the web project, and we greatly appreciate how flexible they were in making time to meet with us, and accommodating our requests and needs.”
The team at Post Modern Marketing greatly appreciated having the opportunity to work with Sunseri Associates, and we look forward to working with them again when the time comes for a new site revamp.
