Founded in 2011 by Chris Post, Post Modern Marketing is a Sacramento based company with a single goal: To help businesses – both those here in Sacramento, and those located throughout the United States and abroad – grow and improve their bottom lines.
In 2016, we expanded our offerings by merging with another web development and marketing company, Creative California. Under the joint leadership of Chris Post and Josh Rubin, Post Modern Marketing now has the most knowledgeable web development and marketing team in Northern California, drawing on the strengths of a stable team of designers, web developers, writers, and experienced marketing professionals to provide the best possible service to our clients.
Chris Post – CEO
Drawing on his past experience in commercial real estate and a degree in Business Administration, Chris Post seeks to bring a practical mindset to the marketing and website development industries. Chris launched Post Modern Marketing in 2010 in order to help businesses avoid unnecessary marketing costs, and instead invest only in the resources they need in order to generate sales and grow their businesses.
Josh Rubin – CMO
Josh began his marketing career in 2003, as a graphic designer and web developer. He has since run marketing campaigns for startups as well as national companies – and most recently owned Creative California, a Sacramento SEO company. Through his volunteer position with Sacramento’s SCORE, his passion has been helping local small businesses grow. He is an expert in SEO, web development, and overall marketing strategy.
Emily Baker – Project Manager
Emily is an all-around web extraordinaire who came to web development with experience in graphic design, WordPress development, and social media. However, her true passion is organization – she manages the projects at PMM. Emily is from Portland, OR and earned her B.A. from Bard College in Massachusetts.
Katya Allison – Digital Marketing Specialist
Katya has a B.A. in Public Relations and has worked across multiple industries in marketing communications. With the world evolving from faxes to tweets, she maintains a hunger for improving her expertise and has certifications in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Inbound Marketing and Social Media Marketing. As part of the Post Modern Marketing team she helps execute marketing goals for our clients with clear communication and creative ideas.
John Nesler – Lead Writer/Researcher
John wears a lot of hats around the Post Modern Marketing office. In addition to being lead writer and researcher, he also looks out for media outreach opportunities and pinch hits as internal copy editor and website-maintainer-type-person. With a background in math and science and a bachelor’s in English from U.C. Davis, John knows a little about a lot, which comes in handy from time to time.
Adam Weil – Designer
Adam, owner of WebSauce Studio, is an expert graphic and web designer with experience creating websites, apps and marketing materials that focus on outstanding usability and clear messaging. The details are what makes the difference: Adam is passionate about using his knowledge of user experience and flow to make websites that don’t just look beautiful, but work.
Chewbarka – Human Resources
Chewie, a 2 year old mixed-breed, graduated from the Sacramento SPCA in 2015 and has since become a valuable member of our team, providing therapeutic services in exchange for treats.
